The curse of the picky eaters strikes again! This time with a fall/ winter staple. Chili! My family is not a fan of heat or beans, so this chili recipe eliminates those two items. This is a really simple crockpot recipe.
I serve this chili with torilla chips. I also love
to add cheddar cheese and sour cream to make it loaded chili.
what you need:
-crockpot
- can opener
- frying pan
food items:
1lb ground beef
2 cans of tomato sauce
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
1 can of corn
2-3 peppers( red and green)
2 tbsp of salt and pepper
1 tbsp cumin
optional items:
1 tsp chili powder
sour cream
cheddar cheese
How to:
cook the ground beef and drain
add the two can of tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and tomato paste to the crockpot along with the drained ground beef
dice the peppers and add to the crockpot along with the can of corn( remember to drain the can of corn)
cook on high for 4 hours.
Add salt and pepper to taste and a tbsp of cumin and a tbsp of both onion and garlic powder
cook on high for an additional hour
serve with tortilla chip, cheddar cheese and sour cream for loaded chili
