Meatball Parm Sliders

If you love Italian food, you'll love this meatball parm slider recipe.

Non food items you need for this recipe:

  • Baking sheet

  • frying pan

  • Reynolds wrap

  • sauce pan

  • bowl

  • brush or spoon

What you'll need

  • Butter ( 1 tablespoon - Melted)

  • Mozzarella cheese ( 1 package of shredded Mozzarella)

  • Ground beef ( 1 Pound)

  • Sauce ( homemade or Jarred)

  • slider buns ( Kings Hawaiian)

  • Bread crumbs

  • garlic powder

  • onion powder

  • salt

  • Pepper

  • egg

This recipe is multi-step:

Always remember you cam customize each recipe with items you prefer.

1. The first thing i did was start a quick sauce, i had some of my sauce previously frozen, you can use a jarred sauce, The sauce needs to be ready for this recipe. if you don't make your own sauce, you can always grab a jar of sauce in the grocery store.I will be adding my spaghetti sauce recipe in another post soon! Whether you have your own or you choose a jarred sauce, you are going to need a medium sauce pan to heat it up.

2. The next thing-you need to do is make the meatballs. Take a large bowl and place the ground beef in along wit 1/2 a cup of Italian seasoned bread crumbs, 2 tsp of both garlic and onion powder, 1 tsp of salt and pepper and one large egg. Combine all the ingredients thereto, kneeing the beef mixture with your hands.

3. Then, i formed the ground beef meatball mixture into a ball. I pushed down on the ball creating small patties. I did this for two reasons, first, it will be easier for the sliders to cook if they are flat and they are a bit easier to eat when you place them on the buns.

4. Place the patties in a non stick frying pan, you can add a bit of olive oil to the bottom of the pan, Cook the patties until no longer pink in the middle. ( While cooking your patties, check on your sauce, stirring every few minutes to avoid sticking.

5. when the patties are almost finished, take your baking sheet and line it with Reynolds wrap or spray with non - stick cooking spray. place the bottom of your buns on the baking sheet. ( i purchased Kings Hawaiian rolls for this recipe and they were easy to work with and delicious. I highly recommend them but when they are on sale)

6. Take some of your sauce and brush or scoop sightly onto the buns, add your patties, cover with cheese and add a bit more sauce on top( if you like things saucy)

7. Let the sliders cook for about 10- 15 minutes without the top of the buns. While the sliders are in the oven melt 1 tbs of butter, brush the melted butter on the top of the buns. Remove the sliders from the oven, add the tops and place back in the oven for 5-10 minutes.

8. serve and enjoy! I served these on the baking sheet and then cut them apart using a pizza cutter but any knife will do.
